There are two situations when the fuel tank is not full. One is that the fuel nozzle of the gas station itself has regulations that do not allow the fuel gun to jump when it is very full. Basically, the gun will jump when it reaches the mailbox mouth within one liter to one and a half liters, so it cannot be filled to full. Another situation is the change in pressure in the fuel tank caused by the clogged activated carbon tank of the car, resulting in insufficient fuel.

Is the fuel tank not full? Is the meter showing it or is it really full?
1. The meter shows: the oil float is wrong. My previous Tiida had some problems with the oil pump, but I was reluctant to replace it.
2. I am really dissatisfied: there is a problem with the carbon tank, which causes air pressure problems and causes the oil gun to trip accidentally.
3. What’s more, you want to add it to the mouth, which is impossible. There will be leakage. If it is too full, please leave some air
It is better to add half when refueling, which can reduce its own weight and save fuel. But having said that, the average car fuel tank capacity is about fifty or sixty liters, and part of it must be used as a backup tank, half of which is about twenty or thirty liters. The density of gasoline is about 0.7-0.8, which means it weighs about thirty or forty kilograms. This has little effect on reducing fuel consumption for a car. If you have to take a detour when refueling, the fuel saved in half a tank may not be enough to make the detour.
So there is not much to pay attention to when to refuel. It is recommended to refill before the indicator light comes on or when there is about a quarter left. Instead of worrying about these, it is better to check which gas station has better oil quality, pay attention to whether there are any promotions in the near future, etc. It is recommended to fill up directly at one time.
Personally, I feel that it is not appropriate to fill the fuel tank, but 80% is appropriate. The reasons are as follows:
1. Filling up the vehicle increases fuel consumption and increases fuel consumption
For most people, this impact can be ignored, because everyone generally does not care about such a small amount of weight, but it still needs to be mentioned. Just like I used to like to put unused things in the trunk, and put more and more, but the fuel consumption...
2. There is a risk of fire
When the fuel tank is too full, the expansion of the gasoline volume may burst the fuel tank. Car manufacturers take this into consideration, so cars will have vents. When the fuel is overfull, some gasoline will overflow from the vents. Gasoline is highly volatile, and if it encounters an open flame (perhaps an unextinguished cigarette butt), it will cause a fire.
3. Causes smooth driving
If the fuel tank is filled too full, the vent hole may be blocked, causing negative pressure in the tank. If the fuel supply of the car is not smooth, the car will swerve. Everyone can think about it with the pictures below. Bah...Bah...Bah...
